China to support Moldova in modernizing hospitals

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/- China will support Moldova in modernizing hospitals.

Yesterday, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco had a meeting with Ambassador of China to Chisinau Zhang Yinghong and discussed the framework of cooperation between the two countries in health and prospects for cooperation in the near future.

During the talks, the sides agreed to launch the third phase of the project to strengthen the capacity of the Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was established in 2011, based on the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the two states. In the first two phases of the project, the Beijing Government provided non-reimbursable aid for the creation of the Center and its endowment with Chinese medical equipment and herbs.

China has provided our country with a batch of 150,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine, protective equipment for medical workers, as well as tests for the SARS CoV-2 virus.
