EU, UNDP launched competition on local transformation in Moldovan localities

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- The European Union and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have launched a competition for localities in the Republic of Moldova in municipal transformation.
It is part of the EU-funded Mayors for Economic Growth regional project, implemented by UNDP in the Eastern Partnership Member States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine). Deadline for online applications is October 25.
The selected localities will be supported by the EU and UNDP to develop and activate portfolios of systemic measures to stimulate growth and sustainability.
