Romanian Consulate in Balti resumes activity with public

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- Romanian Consulate in Balti resumes work with public today, after it was suspended for several days due to COVID-19.
From today, consular services will be resumed for taking the oath of allegiance, visas and birth registration.
The session of taking the oath of allegiance to Romania, from October 1, 2021 was rescheduled for October 8, 2021.
Consular services suspended in the context of anti-covid measures will be rescheduled as follows: taking the oath of allegiance: from 27 September to 4 October, from 28 September to 5 October, from 29 September to 6 October.
Against the background of the increase of cases of infection with Covid-19 and the inclusion of Balti municipality in the degree of alert - code red, consulate employees ask consular service beneficiaries to come to the headquarters only at the time of appointment, in order to avoid congestion and compliance with prevention measures and control of Covid-19 infection.
Access to the premises of the Consular Office will be allowed in compliance with the following conditions: mandatory wearing of a protective mask, use of disinfectant solutions, keeping a physical distance of at least 1.5 m.
