Moldovan, German presidents planted trees at Botanical Garden

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan President Maia Sandu and President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier planted a tree at the Chisinau Botanical Garden this morning, as a sign of strengthening bilateral relations, the presidential press service has reported.
"Thus, we followed a well-established tradition of the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova. The tulip trees symbolize the vigor and intensity of the relations between the Republic of Moldova and Germany, which we want to further develop, for the well-being of the citizens of the two countries ", said Maia Sandu.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier paid a two-day official visit to Moldova at the invitation of Maia Sandu.
