Kindergarten in Gradiste, Cimișlia district, renovated with Romania support

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- Alunelul kindergarten from Gradiște village, Cimișlia district, was repaired and modernized with the help of the Romanian Government. The works were part of the over 1100 renovation projects of kindergartens and schools in the Republic of Moldova with the financial support of Romania.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development Ana Mardare together with Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ioniță participated in inauguration ceremony of the renovated kindergarten. The official thanked the Government of Bucharest for its support in carrying out the project, noting that such social projects bring direct benefits to citizens to improve living conditions.
The preschool education institution in Gradiste was renovated through the "Technical and financial assistance program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova", implemented by the Social Investment Fund of Moldova. The value of the project amounted to about 800 thousand lei, the project also benefiting from a contribution from the local community. Currently, the kindergarten in the village of Gradiste has three groups and is attended by 54 children. There are 72 preschool children in the village.
