Moldovan foreign affairs minister receives state secretary of German Federal Ministry for Economy Affairs and Energy

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu today received State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Ulrich Nußbaum, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

„We are set to attract new German investments in Moldova. Today, I discussed ways of developing the energy sector and opportunities provided by the transition to the green energy with State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Ulrich Nußbaum, a member of the delegation led by President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head, Nicu Popescu, said.

The German official expressed willingness to provide the expertise of the Federal Ministry for Economic `Affaires and Energy for the advancement of concrete proposals of cooperation.

Germany ranks eighth among the principal investors and is on the third position among the main commercial partners of Moldova.
