Bust of Ferdinand I King of Romania from central Moldova village to be reconstructed

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - The bust of the Ferdinand I King of Romania from the Verejeni village, central Telenesti district, will be reconstructed, according to a cabinet decision approved at a today’s meeting.
The cabinet members approved, at a proposal by the Culture Ministry, presented under a decision of the Verejeni village council, the reconstruction of the bust of Ferdinand I King of Romania on the square of the Saint George church from this settlement.
“The bust will be reconstructed according to a project approved by the Culture Ministry. The expenses for the working out of the project documentation, fulfillment, building of the bust and the arrangement of the adjacent area will be covered from donations, sponsorships and other sources which are not banned by the law,’’ the document reads.
The present decision enters into force on the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
