Participants in Chernobyl accident relief works with no disability degree to have right to state monthly allocations in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - The government has issued a positive note for the initiative to give right to monthly state allocations worth 750 lei to the participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works, who have no disability degrees, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
According to data by the Defence Ministry, 89 people are presently in the records, who belong to the category of participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works and who do not have disability degrees.
The enforcement of the amendment submitted will be carried out within the limit of the transfers from the state budget to the state social insurances budget for 2021.
In its note, the government also proposes to regulate this category of beneficiaries as people who participated in relief works at the Chernobyl nuclear power station, people who came from the alienation area in 1986 and received Moldova’s citizenship.
