Administrative, economic staff from hospitals to receive higher salaries in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - The administrative and economic staff of the medical and sanitary institutions will benefit from a 57-per cent increase in salaries starting from 1 November 2021. The lawmakers adopted a draft law to this effect in the second reading today.

Following the amendments to the legislation, the unqualified workers will benefit from an increase in the salary from 2,470 lei to 3,840 lei. As for the qualified workers, their salary will be 5,040 lei, against 3,240 lei, earlier established.

The salary of the specialists with higher education working at this institution will increase from 5,850 lei to 9,090 lei. Also, the staff involved in providing medical assistance to the patients infected with the new-type coronavirus will benefit from a supplement to the salary.
