Chisinau, Dec. 16 / MOLDPRES /- Digital platform e-Transport Authorization will become operational by April 2022. The subject was examined yesterday by Mircea Păscăluță, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, who had a meeting with Director of the Program of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Structural Reforms in Moldova Milo Stevanovich.
Discussions focused on the current state of implementation of the information system e-Transport Authorization and the actions to be taken to streamline activities within the project.
The parties agreed to develop a concrete action plan, which will establish a much more efficient coordination and communication mechanism, so that the digital platform e-Transport Authorization will become operational by next April.
The Structural Reforms Program in Moldova was launched in January 2017 by USAID and contributes to the implementation of structural reforms to regulate and stimulate business and trade in the Republic of Moldova, including improving the strategic communication between the public and private sectors. The program runs for four years and is based on four pillars: trade facilitation; improving the business climate; improving communication between different economic actors; creating a fund to facilitate business activity.
It aims to modernize public services by digitizing operational processes and diversifying access channels to public services provided by the National Agency for Auto Transport, which consists in automating the process of submission of applications by beneficiaries.
