Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The alternative electric energy systems might be placed on farmlands as well. The parliament approved a draft law to this effect in the first reading today.
The document sees the placement of solar photovoltaic systems on farmlands, without being necessary to change the purpose. At the same time, the purpose of the high-quality farmlands will be able to be changed for the construction of wind power installations.
Also, the law proposes that the photovoltaic installations should be fixed at the soil through metal structure and not through the use of reinforced concrete or other type of construction materials, which would have a negative impact on soil’s fertility. Thus, measures are envisaged for preserving and enhancing the soil’s fertility.
The document also contains the conditions of designing, setting, assembling and placing of solar photovoltaic systems and wind power plants.
