More taxes in Chisinau to be increased in 2022

Chisinau, 17 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- City councilors voted this week to adjust local taxes for next year's inflation level by 2020 by 3.8 percent.

Thus, the quotas of the following market taxes were updated: 50 lei per year for each square meter for the food, agricultural, non-food and mixed markets; 15 lei per year for each square meter for the car markets located on the outskirts of the city, with a short activity regime of 1-3 days; 38 lei per year for each square meter for the car markets located on the outskirts of the city, with an activity regime of 6-7 days; 72 lei per year for each square meter for car markets located in the city, with a short activity regime of 1-3 days; 87 lei per year for each square meter for car markets located in the city, with an activity regime of 6-7 days; 870 lei per year per square meter for flower markets located within the perimeter of culture and leisure parks, with non-stop activity; 73 lei per year per square meter for the other flower markets with non-stop activity; 19 lei per year for each square meter for "used" type markets.

At the same time, the fees for advertising devices were updated - 775 lei per year for each square meter of the surface of the face (s) of the advertising device, the fee for landscaping - 165 lei per year for each employee and / or founder of the individual enterprise, household peasants (farmers), also its members and / or for each person carrying out professional activity in the justice sector, the tax for organizing auctions and lotteries on the territory of Chisinau - 0.26% of the income from sales of goods declared at auction or the value of lottery tickets issued, the placement (advertising) of advertising (advertising) - 5.2% of the revenue from the sale of advertising and / or broadcasting services through film, video, telephone, telegraph networks, telex, by means of transport, by other means (except TV, internet, radio and, the periodical press, printing) except for the placement of outdoor advertising, the application of local symbolism - 0.26% of sales revenue of manufactured products to which local symbolism applies and the parking fee - 31 lei per year for each square meter of parking area.

During the meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council, the representatives of the Chisinau City Hall stated that the increase of local taxes was motivated by the increase of the inflation rate in 2021.

"The tax burden for HoReCa enterprises will be halved if Chisinau enters the red health alert code," the official said.

Currently, the inflation rate is over 12 percent. Tax experts estimate that in 2022, the inflation rate will exceed 14 percent.
