Emergency state in public health sector extended in Chisinau till 15 January 2022

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Extraordinary Public Health Commission of the Chisinau municipality has extended the emergency state in the public health sector till 15 January 2022 and ruled to establish the Yellow Code alert on the territory of the capital.
The Commission reduced the degree of alert from ‘’orange code’’ to ‘’yellow code’’ and decided the compulsory wearing of the protection mask in the closed spaces and at the public events from open spaces, where there are crowds.
At the same time, health experts warned that, in the context of the winter holidays, economic agents from the HoReCa sector and the organizers of activities should limit the organization of festive dinners and corporate parties.
In the case of organizing such events, the following rules will be compulsory: occupying up to 50 per cent of the hall’s capacity, preserving the physical distance between chairs and tables, access only with the presentation of the COVID-19 certificate.
In the case of the events organized on holidays, including concerts and fairs, the following rules will be obligatory: wearing the protection mask; consuming food products and hot beverages only in specially set places; observing the physical distance of 1 metre between people; the COVID-19 certificate for the staff and traders from festive events and fairs; placing booths at a distance of at least 5 metres, tables – at least 3 metres.
