CNA officers raided several locations in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, Dec. 20 / MOLDPRES /- The National Anticorruption Center and the PA prosecutors announced today that they are carrying out criminal prosecution actions in several cases, based on acts of active, passive corruption and influence peddling. At this time, there are 69 searches of 38 people.

According to the CNA, law enforcement is investigating a corruption scheme involving real estate brokers and Public Service Agency employees. According to the investigation data, the organizer of the scheme, through some ASP officials, arranged the issuance of permissive documents for the purchase-sale of real estate, without the presence of the owners and in the absence of the power of attorney.

According to the quoted source, cars, homes and service offices have been searched since this morning. At the same time, CNA officers pick up several documents from the ASP headquarters.
