Chisinau, Dec. 20 / MOLDPRES /- A lot of workshops within Traseul eco-turistic Stâncile Prutului project took place on 13-18 December in Edineț, Glodeni and Râșcani districts.
The workshops addressed topics such as promoting the traditional culture of local communities within the concept of eco-tourism route, elaboration of the ecological development plan of the village, creation of the locality logo and the brand of the Stâncile Prutului route, etc.
Twelve localities from three districts in the north of the Republic of Moldova will be united in a tourist route, unique for this region of Europe. The route is created within the Project implemented by the Terra Humana Foundation (Warsaw, Poland) and the Public Association Heirs (Balti, Moldova), which provides for the creation of the eco-tourist route Prut Rocks in Edineț, Râșcani and Glodeni districts.
The eco-tourist route will include the localities Viișoara, Cobani and Camenca from Glodeni, Costești, Văratic, Druța, Boroseni and Mihăileni districts from Râșcani and Brânzeni, Gordinești and Fetești from Edineț.
The project in Edineț, Râșcani and Glodeni districts will be implemented in 2021-2023. It will develop an integrated ecotourism offer, using the Polish experience and strengthening the involvement of members of 12 rural communities (four from each district) in local socio-economic development, by increasing the tourist potential of localities and officially registering the national tourist route. The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland under the program Polish Development Assistance 2021.
