Chisinau, Dec. 20 / MOLDPRES /-In Chisinau, all doses of vaccine administered to citizens were in accordance with the validity period.
Mayor Ion Ceban stated in today's online meeting of the municipal services that, following the verifications, it was found that all vaccine doses administered to the inhabitants of Chisinau were compliant and did not have expired. "Following the public information provided by the Court of Auditors regarding the immunization of the vaccinated population which has expired, I state that, following the verifications carried out by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, all vaccine doses applied to the inhabitants of the municipality were in accordance with the term of validity. No dose of vaccine applied to the citizens had expired, "Ceban said.
A report by the Court of Auditors, released last week, revealed deficiencies in vaccine records and that expired vaccine doses would have been allowed. The Court of Auditors' finding was rejected by the Ministry of Health, which announced that it had set up a commission of inquiry for further verification.
