Chisinau, Dec. 20 / MOLDPRES /- The number of coronavirus patients in Chisinau is declining, but COVID-19 cases are much more aggressive.
Boris Gâlcă, the interim head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, announced in today's online meeting of the mayor's office that the coronavirus incidence rate has reached 87 cases per 1,000 inhabitants, which means that the number of cases of COVID-19 is declining.
The official informed that 294 people are hospitalized in the municipal health institutions, 39 of them being in serious condition. "Health experts have found that the number of coronavirus cases is declining, but the number of cases recorded is much more aggressive, with an increase in the number of deaths as a result of this disease. In the last 24 hours, four patients died ", said Gâlcă.
Following the thorough checks carried out by the employees of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, it was found that no expired vaccines were administered on the territory of Chisinau municipality.
