Moldovan roads in winter conditions

Chisinau, 21 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- During the night of December 21, the maintenance works of the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where the interventions of the territorial units of Roads company were required. At present, the accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), it is about routes from all regions of the country, sectors from Briceni, Ocnița, Edineț, Dondușeni, Soroca, Drochia, Râșcani, Glodeni, Fălești, Sângerei, Orhei, Criuleni, Călărași, Străș districts. Ungheni, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Vulcănești, Chisinau and Balti municipalities. "Roadmen have been patrolling and sliding," said ASD.

In the technological process during the mentioned period were involved: special equipment - 58 units; non-slip material - 943.8 tons; road workers - 106 people.

The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.
