Winners of carols contest 2nd edition nominated

Chisinau, 21 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Ruxanda Covalschi, pupil of the Theoretical High School Gheorghe Asachi in the capital is the winner of the second edition of the Contest of carols, organized online by the Moldovan parliament on the eve of the winter holidays. It garnered the most views - 77,527,000, the parliament's communication and public relations has reported.
The vocal group Poienita of the gymnasium from Voloave village, Soroca district ranked first in children's category getting 70,254 views.
The group Busuioc from Floreni, Anenii Noi, ranked second in adult category - 62,687 views, and the third place went to the folk band from Peticeni village, Călărași district - 55,266 views.
The second and third places, in the children's category, were occupied by the group Fluturașii from Cahul, which recorded 29,364 views, and respectively Andreea Cega from Cobusca Veche village, Anenii Noi, which accumulated 25,250 views.
The Carols Contest, launched by the Parliament in December, registered almost 150 groups and soloists of different ages from all regions of the country, as well as from the diaspora.
All carols can be followed on Parliament's Facebook account. At the same time, they resonate in the lobby of the parliamentary institution during the winter holidays.
