Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) reminds all tax payers (any legal entity, any private entrepreneur, any peasand household or any private person who carries out entrepreneurial activity or who practices professional activity) about the obligation to inform the fiscal authority about the registration of the bank account opened abroad, in order to avoid the forcible compliance and imposing of sanctions provided for by the legislation.
This will be made in a period of 15 days after the opening of the bank account, in line with the provisions of the Fiscal Code. As confirmation of the account’s registration, SFS issues a certificate of compliance to the tax payer in a three-day term.
“At the same time, the exchange of information between the state’s institutions represents one of the principal instruments staying at the basis of identifying the tax payers who intend or have already committed the non-observance of the legislation in force, including through the communication of the opening of the bank accounts,’’ the State Fiscal Service said.
The opening of foreign sales markets represents for resident tax payers opportunity to diversify their activity, enhance the profitableness, as well as to create a register of international clients, with great development opportunities. To fulfill the concerned goals and projects, tax payers often opt for the opening of bank accounts abroad, which facilitates the organization and development of the entrepreneurial activity.
