New consignment of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine brought to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - The National Public Health Agency (ANSP) has received another 74,880 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. The serum is part of the consignment of 700,830 doses purchased by the Health Ministry through the Foreign Assistance Programmes Management Office.
According to data by the Health Ministry, the doses are to be distributed proportionally to all vaccination points of Moldova.
So far, Moldova has received 1,086,710 doses of Pfizer vaccine. As many as 125,190 doses were received through the COVAX platform, 100,620 doses represented donations on behalf of Romania and 575,640 doses were procurements.
As many as 966,337 people have finished the full vaccination scheme in Moldova since the beginning of the immunization campaign.
