Citizens to be able to make online appointments for apostille of documents

Chisinau, Dec. 22 / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Justice has announced that, starting tomorrow, 23 December, the submission of documents for apostille will take place on the basis of an online appointment through an automated system.

At the same time, at a counter, the possibility of submitting documents without programming will be maintained, for people who do not have access to the internet.

An online appointment for the application of the apostille will be made on the website: programare-apostila.justice.gov.md. The applicant will have to indicate: the number of documents submitted for apostille; name, surname of the depositor; identification number (IDNP) and email address.

Upon receipt of the information, a confirmation message will be sent to the scheduler request, containing the date, time and unique scheduling code. Subsequently, the depositor is to present himself with the identity card at the headquarters of the Apostille and Legalization Directorate, at the date and time indicated in the confirmation message.

The Ministry of Justice states that the applicants will not be able to submit a larger number of documents than indicated in the application for programming. A ceiling of up to 50 documents per day is also set to exclude abuse by intermediaries.
