Dutch investors interested in developing organic farming projects in Moldova

Chisinau, Dec. 22 / MOLDPRES /- Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Viorel Gherciu had a meeting yesterday with a group of Dutch investors, who are interested in developing projects in organic farming in our country.

"The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry is open to collaboration and provides support in the development and promotion of organic farming, as the demand for eco-friendly products is constantly rising. Our country has a significant agricultural potential, and the main concerns are: increasing the cultivation of organic crops, promoting technical progress, providing citizens with high quality products and intensifying exports," he said.

For their part, Dutch investors emphasized that they intend to apply the principles of the circular economy to the agricultural sector, develop innovative technologies and increase the productivity of agricultural land by applying crop protection methods.
