Winter conditions on Moldovan roads

Chisinau, Dec. 22 / MOLDPRES /- During the night of December 22, the maintenance works of the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where the interventions of the territorial units of Roads company were necessary. At present, the accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions, on the entire national road network.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), these are sectors from Bălți, Sângerei, Căinari (Căușeni district), Cimișlia, Anenii Noi, Chișinău, Criuleni, Dubăsari, Ocnița, Hâncești, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Orhei, Telenești Sâcă (Floresti district), Soroca, Soldanesti and Straseni.

"This morning and during yesterday evening, patrol and anti-skid works were carried out, and patrol works were carried out in the southern area. During the mentioned period, in the technological process were involved: special equipment - 54 (units); non-slip material - 608.1 tons; road workers - 81 people ", indicates ASD.

The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.
