Moldovan foreign affairs minister receives Ambassador of Slovakia on farewell visit

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has received Ambassador of Slovakia Dušan Dacho on a farewell visit.

On the occasion of the end of the diplomatic mission in Moldova, Deputy PM Nicu Popescu thanked Ambassador Dušan Dacho for the prodigious activity carried out, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’ (MAEIE) press service has reported.

„On the period of his mandate, the friendship relations between the two states were deepened, as well as the potential of the Moldovan-Slovakian cooperation was turned to good account,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head said.

At the meeting, the officials exchanged opinions on the present stage of the bilateral relations. The sides stressed the importance of boosting the high-level political dialogue, the need to further develop the commercial and economic cooperation and extend the collaboration in the cultural and humanitarian sectors.
