Moldovan deputy premier meets German envoy

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- On the end of diplomatic mission in Chisinau, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integraiton Minister Nicu Popescu received German Ambassador Angela Ganninger on farewell visit, the MAEIE press service has reported.

The Moldovan official praised the authorities for personal contribution of the German diplomat to developing bilateral priorities.

"The ambassador's mandate was focused on implementing concrete projects in speeding up the country's European integation, as well as mutual visits of both states' presidents," Popescu said.

The officials welcomed the economic development between the two countries, given that Germany is one of the most important foreign trade partners of Moldova.
