AIPA to cooperate with similar institution from Lithuania under agreement

Chisinau, January 31 / MOLDPRES /- Agricultural Intervention and Payments Agency (AIPA) signed a cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian National Paying Agency (NMA) late last week.

The document was signed with the aim of renewing, consolidating and expanding the existing cooperation program between the two countries, by developing collaborative relations in areas of common interest.

During the event, AIPA deputy head Diana Coșalîc mentioned the importance of maintaining a constant dialogue in the areas of competence. "The main objective remains to develop the support system for applicants for non-reimbursable funds for rural development and the agro-industrial segment," the head said.

NMA head Aleksandras Muzikevicius said that the Agency "is open to strengthening cooperation and making it more efficient".
