Criminal record requests to be submitted, paid through payment terminals

Chisinau, 1 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) informed that the possibility of submitting the application for all types of criminal records through payment terminals was requested, ensuring the possibility for citizens to fill in the required fields such as the registration number of the transport unit, the number of registration plates lost / stolen, the period for road accident certificates.

According to the ministry, following the collaboration of the Information Technology Service of the Ministry of Interior with a company that manages a network of multifunctional payment terminals, starting with January 28, 2022, it is possible both the automated submission of the application and its payment in all payment terminals. Republic of Moldova. "Thus, the citizens will be able to benefit from the public services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs faster and easier", according to the quoted source.

Previously, citizens had to go to the headquarters of the Information Technology Service of the Ministry of Interior or to the district police inspectorates to submit a written request, to which was attached the payment slip, and to approach the next day to collect the requested certificate.
