Moldovan deputy PM has meeting with Ambassador of Austria

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration  Oleg Serebrian today received on visit Ambassador of Austria to Moldova Stella Avallone. The Austrian diplomat conveyed congratulations to the Moldovan official on his appointment to office. At the same time, she expressed her country’s willingness to continue a constructive dialogue, aimed at developing the bilateral relations, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.  

The two officials tackled subjects regarding the government’s priorities and goals set for a complex approaching of the Transnistrian file.

The deputy PM highlighted the full openness of the Moldovan authorities to re-launch the work in all formats of negotiations, including in the 5+2 format, with tackling the subjects from all baskets on the agenda. Oleg Serebrian also emphasized the importance of resumption, in the near future, of the activity of the sectoral working groups, in order to facilitate the process of finding technical solutions to the present problems.    

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian thanked the Austrian partners for the assistance constantly provided to Moldova in diverse sectors. At the same time, he stressed the need to coordinate with the Chisinau authorities the projects which promote the measures of building confidence between the two banks of Dniester.
