Moldovan parliament speaker participates in General Assembly of Local Public Authorities

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, along with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, today participated in the General Assembly of Local Public Authorities (APL), organized online by the Congress of Local Authorities from Moldova (CALM), the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.
The event was occasioned by the day of the local autonomy and local public administration employee, marked in Moldova on 1 February.
In the context, Igor Grosu congratulated all mayors, employees of the local public administration and thanked them for dedication.
”You have all my openness as parliament speaker, the openness of my colleagues MPs, in order to give a helping hand to the improvement of our citizens’ living standards,’’ the speaker said.
Igor Grosu noted that the voice of the local public authorities is the voice of the communities from Moldova.
