As many as 143 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,998 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 143 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 516,587 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

As many as 257 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 43 are in extremely serious condition, 6 subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 923 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,148 are under supervision at home.

Another 186 people have been treated. As many as 503,599 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 3 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,485 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
