Chisinau city hall to provide one-off aid to disadvantaged people

Chisinau, April 20 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau city hall's department of social assistance and health announced it will earmark one-off aid for 12 thousand disadvantaged people on Easter holidays. The aid amounted to about 2.2 million lei.

Thus, 777 visually impaired people, members of the Chisinau Territorial Organization of the Public Association Association of the Blind in Moldova and 853 deaf people, members of the Deaf Association of the Republic of Moldova, Chisinau Territorial Branch will receive financial aid worth 500 lei.

At the same time, 9,182 elderly people, people with severe, accentuated and medium disabilities whose pensions do not exceed the amount of 1,450 lei, will benefit from one-off aid worth 100 lei.

Persons in this category are to receive the assistance through the Moldovan Post Office on 20 April -20 July.
