Moldovan Food Safety Agency asks to withdraw batch of eggs from commerce

Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/ - The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) today informed that it had asked an operator in the food sector, Intervetcom Ltd company, to start the procedure of withdrawal from the trade network and recalling from clients of eggs for consumption, as they are infected with salmonella.
ANSA says that the people who bought products from the concerned consignment (Consignment/expiration date: 3MD CM 001/ 12.05.2022. The products were sold on the period 05-15.04.2022. The consignment’s expiration date: 12.05.2022) are asked not to consume them and have right to return the products to the shop where they were purchased.
Under the legislation in force, the operators who sold non-conforming products are responsible for their withdrawal from market and cooperate with the National Food Safety Agency on the actions undertaken, in order to avoid or reduce the risks posed by a food product introduced on market.
