Moldovan parliament hosts Easter-themed art exhibition

Chisinau, April 21 / MOLDPRES /- Ten works of contemporary art with the Easter topic Christ is Risen are being unveiled in Parliament on April 21-29.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the works executed in oil on canvas belong to the plastic artists Eudochia Robu, Valeriu Jabinschi, Mihail Statnîi, Vasile Grama, Inga Edu, Ecaterina Ajder, Iraida Ciobanu, Andrei Negură and Dumitru Bolboceanu. Each of them reproduces Easter or biblical motifs and was made between 1995 and 2022.

The exhibition is hosted by the Parliament during the Easter holidays and was opened, in partnership, with the Union of Fine Artists in our country.

The tradition of varnishing works of art inside the Legislature was launched in 2016.
