GALEX gala of national prizes nominated winners in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Culture Ministry, the League of Librarians and the National Library (BNRM) today organized the GALEX gala of laureates of national prizes, the 11th issue. The event is held on the eve of the World Book and Copyright Day, as well of the Librarian Day of Moldova, annually marked on 23 April.

Attending the festivity of awarding prizes, Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan congratulated the librarians of Moldova on the occasion of the Librarians’ Day. ‘’I come up with sincere wishes of good and I express gratitude to all those who dedicated their lives to the relation between books and people, as well as between the library and community,’’ Sergiu Prodan said.

The GALEX prize was established by the League of Librarians in Moldova and the National Library in 2010.
