Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/- The 20 April Official Journal of MOldova published the government decision on supporting the digital innovations and startups. According to it, the Ministry of Economy, through the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM) will provide grants to companies working in digital innovation.

The program aims to provide grants in the form of grants to SMEs on the components of digital innovation, green technology and sustainable production in the following areas: information and communication technology, digital media, manufacturing, agriculture, education, health, financial services, creative industries , e-Commerce, recycling.

Technology startups will benefit from non-reimbursable financing in the form of grants up to 80% of the costs related to the development and promotion of products and / or services, but not more than 500,000 lei.

The program was set up under the Partnership Agreement with the Technologies of the Future project, supported by the United States Agency for International Development, and will be funded from both budget allocations and external sources from development partners.
