Moldovan Education Ministry, Moldovan Football Federation sign memorandum on cooperation

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - Education and Research Minister Anatolie Topala and the head of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), Leonid Oleinicenco, on 14 July signed a memorandum on cooperation, the goal of which is to develop and popularize football in Moldova.
The document signed provides for the joint carrying out of actions as to the organization, coordination and consolidation of cooperation in the football sector. The two institutions are to implement a string of joint actions to ensure a sustainable development of football projects in education institutions.
Attending the event were FIFA officials: the director of the Football for Schools programme Fatimata Sow, and the manager of this programme, Alexandre Gros.
„I am honoured to be present at the signing of this memorandum for continuing the implementation of the Football in Schools programme. This is an important foundation for future, as the education process comes in close connection with sport and develops life aptitudes for children. I congratulate you and assure you that we will be with you to implement this project. You have every support of FIFA President Gianni Infantino,’’ Fatimata Sow said.
