Romania's government to support projects for backing Moldova's citizens

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Department for Relation with Moldova (DRRM) of the Romanian government has informed about the second financing session for 2022. The applications on financing will be sent by email till 31 July this year.    

According to the institution, projects carrying out activities to back Moldovan citizens can be financed from DRRM budget. The projects this year are implemented in the sectors of culture, mass media, education, civil education, spirituality and tradition.  

„As for the projects approved following the evaluation,  the deadline of registration at DRRM of the centralized expenses deduction sheet and the final activity report is of 30 days at the most after the finishing of the last action within the project, but not later than 30 November 2022, except for the projects the exclusive goal of which is to carry out actions for marking the National Day of Romania, for which the deadline for registration of the aforementioned documents is 10 December this year,’’ the Department for Relation with Moldova said.  

The applications on financing will be approved within the limit of the budget allocated, with the observance of the principles of free competition, efficiency of the use of public money, transparency and equal treatment, the Department added.
