Moldovan PM to give speech to Romanian MPs

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet is going to pay a visit of a few hours to Romania today. The visit takes place at an invitation by the Romanian authorities, on the occasion of ratification by the Romanian parliament of the law on refundable financial assistance amounting to 150 million euros ,offered to Moldova last week, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
Strelet is to give a speech to Romanian MPs on turning to good account of the bilateral strategic partnership for Moldova's European integration, strengthening bilateral relations via intense political dialogue and enhanced economic cooperation, given that Romania is presently the main trade partner of Moldova. Also, Valeriu Strelet will approach prospects for development of bilateral projects in the energy sector and will show the need and importance of the refundable assistance provided by Romania, due to be used to relaunch investment projects and for budgetary support.
The document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman and Romanian Minister of Public Finances Eugen Orlando Teodorovici in Chisinau on 9 October 2015.
Valeriu Strelet will have a meeting with his Romanian counterpart Victor Ponta and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
