Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/-The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) will decide whether or not to participate in the creation of a new coalition, after its National Political Council holds a meeting next week. The announcement was made by the acting PLDM leader, Valeriu Strelet, following the meeting of the party’s political bureau.
According to Strelet, the Democratic Party (PDM) must take responsibility for their rough actions of the last week.
“Once they got engaged in this chaos situation, they must be ready for all kind of scenarios, regardless of PLDM’s participation in them. I asked my colleagues to summon their territorial councils and come up with clear and responsible decisions at the meeting of the National Political Council, due in a few days,” Strelet said.
The government headed by Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet was dismissed by motion of censure with the vote of 65 Democrat, Socialist and Communist MPs at the end of last week. Following the cabinet’s dismissal, PDM announced it started negotiations on the creation of a new pro-European governing coalition.
