The Council of Europe plays an important role in the process of inclusion of ethnic minorities from Moldova in the social life."

In his speech, Director General of Human Rights and Legal Affairs of the Council of Europe Philippe Boillat said that "the primary responsibility for the enforcement of the Venice Convention's provisions on importance of observing the human rights lies with the national authorities, and the Council of Europe will provide all the needed support."
Participants in the conference will unveil the achievements, challenges and subsequent dimensions of the enforcement, at national level, of European standards on human rights, ensuring principles of democracy and state based on the rule of law, in parallel with the justice sector reformation and present developments in the architecture of the European human rights system.
