Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/-The leadership of the Democratic Party (PDM) today announced that negotiations with pro-European parties and independent MPs would continue in the next days.
According to a PDM press release, Democrats took note of the Liberal Democratic Party’s (PLDM) decision to refuse participation in the negotiations on the creation of a new governing coalition and decided that “the county must have a government and continue its pro-European course”.
Democrats also note that “they will take efforts to provide Moldova with a new pro-European government soon, able to perform quick reforms and ensure stability”.
Following the meeting of its National Political Council on 4 November, the PLDM announced that it would not take part in the negotiations on the creation of a new governing coalition. “Democrats provoked the dismissal of a pro-European government, and therefore, should assume consequences,” PLDM acting leader Valeriu Strelet said.
