Moldovan acting deputy premier meets Swedish ambassador

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Deputy Prime Minister Victor Osipov today had a meeting with Swedish Ambassador to Moldova, Her Excellency Signe Burgstaller, the bureau for reintegration has reported.
In the beginning of the meeting, Victor Osipov thanked the government of Sweden for the substantial assistance provided to Moldova within the bilateral cooperation, through important projects on technical assistance.
The acting deputy prime minister appreciated Sweden's involvement in projects aimed at strengthening the relations between the residents from both banks of Dniester and enhancing the degree of trust between them.
On the occasion, Victor Osipov unveiled a retrospective on the present dialogue concerning the Transnistrian settlement problems. At the same time, he referred to short- and medium-term prospects. Osipov also spoke about the the importance Moldova assigns to the need to continue the five-plus two negotiations, as well as about constant requests by the Moldovan authorities to this end.
At the end of the meeting, Signe Burgstaller assured of every openness of Sweden, including the diplomatic mission he is leading, to consolidate the cooperation with Moldova.
