Meteorologists issue yellow code for wind all over Moldova

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydro-meteorological Service today issued yellow code for strong wind in the entire country.
Meteorologists are expecting an increase in the speed of the north-west wind of up to 15-20 m/s.
Meteorologist Natalia Golub said an increase in the wind speed was currently attested all over Moldova, and in some regions, it might reach 17 metres/second.
The head of the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service’s press service, Liliana Puscasu, said strong wind had caused partial disconnection of electricity in ten Moldovan settlements. It is about the Falesti, Soroca, Ialoveni, Telenesti and Straseni districts, as well as a suburb of Chisinau municipality.
On the next days, meteorologists forecasts day-time air temperatures between +10 and +15 degrees Celsius and +3 degrees Celsius at night.
