Moldovan acting deputy premier meets journalists, experts, U.S. European officials

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Deputy Prime Minister Victor Osipov today had a meeting with a group of analysts in issues of foreign policy, specialists in international cooperation, experts and journalists from the West, on a study visit to Moldova and Ukraine, scheduled for 8-14 November. The visit is organised by the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the bureau for reintegration has reported.
The goal of the meeting, set forth by the guests at the meeting, was to form a general opinion about the political processes in Moldova, government's priorities and to take knowledge of the recent developments in the talks on the Transnistrian conflict settlement.
In the context, the acting deputy prime minister made a review of the present situation in the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue, latest achievements in the negotiating process, and unveiled a retrospective of the activity of the sectoral working groups.
Victor Osipov stressed the importance to maintain the functionality of all platforms of dialogue and ensure continuity in implementing projects on strengthening trust between the two banks of Dniester.
A session of questions and answers took place at the end of the meeting.
