Seven candidates to run for Moldovan top court judge office on behalf of government

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - The commission for selecting candidates for the office of Constitutional Court (CC) judge on behalf of the government validated the files of all candidates who had registered to occupy this vacant post at a meeting held at the government today, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
Thus, seven persons will run for the office of CC judge on behalf of the cabinet:
1. Teodor Cirnat
2. Vladimir Grosu
3. Ion Creanga
4. Eugen Rusu
5. Mihai Corj
6. Valentin Timbaliuc
7. Veaceslav Zaporojan
The candidates are to pass a written examination and one of public interview, that will be sent online. At the today meeting, the commission members ruled to establish a norm of points, on the basis of which the candidates will be given marks and selected for the next stage of the contest.
Under an instruction, published in the Official Journal from 27 October 2015, the commission members have at their disposal 30 days to select the candidates and submit their list to the government, in line with the recorded results.
