Moldovan acting foreign minister attends conference organised by State University

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, acting Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman today participated in a conference of the Moldovan State University (USM) titled, Political Science and Changing Society. The event is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences Faculty at USM, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's (MAEIE) information and media communication service has reported.
The participants in the conference discussed subjects on the university political science and up-to-date problems of the public administration, in the context of Moldova's Europenization, as well as on international cooperation as important factor of modernisation.
The participants also highlighted the good cooperation of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry and the aforementioned faculty, which is a true source of competent staff for MAEIE.
"For Moldova to become really European, we need professional, upright people, with sense of duty, conscious of the huge power they can have," Natalia Gherman said.
Attending the conference were university professors, researchers, MPs, political pundits, students, as well as representatives of higher education institutions from Romania, China, Russia and Slovenia.
