Moldovan acting government members observe minute of silence at embassy of France

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega, accompanied by the cabinet members, today commemorated the victims of the terroristic attacks committed in Paris on 13 November, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
The acting government members observed a minute of silence outside the embassy of France to Moldova, in the presence of Ambassador Pascal Vagogne, as well as of a group of citizens grieving about the Paris tragedy.
In his short speech, the French ambassador thanked for the support provided both by the authorities and ordinary people, on account of the attacks in the capital of France. "On behalf of my country, on behalf of the French citizens from Moldova, I thank Moldova, the government present here, official representatives, as well as anonymous persons, who came in great numbers to express sincere sympathy," Pascal Vagogne said.
Gheorghe Brega reiterated that Moldova was at one with the French nation in these difficult moments. "I once again show our condolences for the relatives of the victims and every support for those who suffer. This is a very difficult day, not only for France," the acting prime minister said.
The day of 16 November was decreed as mourning day in Moldova.
