Man threatens to blow up Moldovan government building

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/- Government employees have been evacuated after a man called the police today around 13:30 and threatened to blow up the government’s building.
The spokesman of the capital’s Police Department, Adrian Jovmir, said the man asked that the tariff for the cable car, which connects Chisinau’s Buiucani sector with Sculeni sector and has not been functioning since 1992, “be 0.075 lei, otherwise, he would blow up the government’s building”.
Policemen say the man could possibly be mentally disordered.
Bomb squad engineers and policemen are currently thoroughly checking the building and have not found anything dangerous so far.
The case is to be investigated. The man who called the police could face a fine of up to 10,000 lei.
