Greece ratifies Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament of Greece on 18 November ratified the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union, the head of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's press service, Ana Taban, has told MOLDPRES.
Thus, Greece is the 27th country to ratify the document, after Romania, Latvia, Malta, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Luxembourg, Finland, Belgium, Slovenia, Austria, Cyprus and Spain.
Italy is the last EU member state due to ratify the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union.
The Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union was signed on 27 June 2014 and ratified by the Moldovan parliament on 2 July 2014. All the 28 EU member states must carry out this procedure.
